About the Gaddes Foundation

It is the intent of the Gaddes Foundation to perpetuate the memory of Michael Gaddes and continue his work of educating the community about Cystic Fibrosis and organ donation. The late Michael Gaddes born with Cystic Fibrosis spent much of his time educating people about Cystic Fibrosis and the need for more organ donors.

Our mission is to increase registered organ donors by raising public knowledge of the requirements, process and need. This will be accomplished through registration drives, participation at community events and talks at local churches and community groups.

The Gaddes Foundation will also raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in hopes of increasing the quality of life of all individuals with Cystic Fibrosis.

The secondary mission of the Gaddes Foundation is to provide individuals with Cystic Fibrosis with money to continue their education at the college level. The Gaddes Foundation will do so by sponsoring scholarships provided by the Cystic Fibrosis Scholarship Foundation.

The Gaddes Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or ethnic origin in the administration of programs and will hold any entity receiving a benefit or distribution from the Foundation to the same standard.
